Watch wonderfully colorful birds throughout our estate.

Some of the most vividly colored and most commonly seen birds are Red-legged Honeycreepers, Bay-headed, Blue-gray and Flame-colored Tanagers, Thick-billed Euphonias, Buff-Throated Saltators, Yellow-throated Brush Finches, Emerald Toucanets, Violet Sabrewing Hummingbirds and Blue-crowned Motmots. Regular visitors include the less common Chestnut-capped Brush Finch.

Based on multiple sightings by ourselves and hotel guests, we have compiled a comprehensive bird list. Many species of migratory birds such as Summer Tanagers and Northern and Streak-backed Orioles winter here.
